The new Subaru sports car starts at a base price of $36,465 and comes with a 2.4-liter boxer four-cylinder rear-wheel drive powertrain.

It features 228 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque at 3,700 rpm.

In an article for The Drive, a reporter rated the Subaru BRZ tS an 8 out of 10 and hailed its weighty and natural-feeling steering.

The Subaru BRZ tS comes with plenty of tweaks, including dual-mode Hitachi shocks in the front of the car.

The Hitachi shocks are only available on this newer 2024 model, compared to Subaru's other BRZ models.

The rear shocks are not Hitachi but they have been tuned to work with the front suspension.

The car comes with dark gray metallic-finished 18-inch alloy wheels.

The new Subaru BRZ tS is the most expensive model offered by the automaker, but only by a few thousand dollars.

It's just $2,650 more than a manual BRZ Limited, and $5,150 more than the base trim with a six-speed.

The interior of the car features exclusive blue interior accents and contrast stitching to give it that original race car-inspired feel.

Subaru kept some things the same as the BRZ Limited, including the tire and wheel pairing.

The Drive took the BRZ tS for a spin and offered feedback on its comfort and handling.

Aside from a crisper shifter and great steering, the publication highlighted how the 2,800-pound car's low center of gravity and rear wheel drive made for a good time.

The car also performed very well on exposed, jagged gravel and climbed mini trails with ease.

The author noted that with all of its features, it could be used as an everyday vehicle despite being a coupe.
