EASTENDERS fans tuning into their next dose of the popular soap will be left disappointed as it isn't on tonight (January 16, 2024).
The BBC One soap is being replaced by something else, and the next episode will air another time.

Why isn't EastEnders on tonight?
EastEnders will not be shown tonight (January 16, 2024).
BBC One viewers have grown accustomed to catching up with the long running soap every Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm.
Instead tonight's episode has been postponed to make way for an important event.
The schedule move comes as the BBC broadcasts the FA Cup live instead.
The channel will be showing the Bristol City vs West Ham United match today (third-round replay) instead, due to kick off at 7.45pm live from Ashton Gate.
EastEnders confirmed the news on X and said episodes will air on BBC iPlayer on Monday and Wednesday to Friday.
As well as EastEnders, Waterloo Road and Silent Witness will also be rescheduled.
The Radio Times summary states: “The Championship outfit took a contingent of 9,000 fans to London Stadium for the original tie nine days ago, and put in a stirring performance to come back from a goal down to secure a 1-1 draw and earn tonight's replay.

When will EastEnders return to TV?
EastEnders will instead air tonight's episode, on Friday (January 19) at 7:30pm on BBC One.
Tuesday's episode hasn’t been put up early on iPlayer.
Instead, this will go onto the BBC streaming site at 6am on Wednesday.
While a week in Walford usually ends on a Thursday, the BBC has agreed to make an exception on this occasion, allowing soap fans to get their full fix.
