When did Elizabeth May and John Kidder get married?

Over the years, May and Kidder crossed paths multiple times on the campaign trail, but it wasn't until 2018 that a relationship formed.

That September, the pair connected at a Green Party convention in Vancouver, and the rest is history.

"[May] delivered a fantastic speech and I just really fell for her then in a big way," Kidder said of their romance, via CBC.

After a month of dating, Kidder popped the question over the phone.

"I couldn't help myself," he said.

"I asked her on the telephone, it's a shame to admit, to marry me and she accepted. I made it a little more formal the next day in the Parliamentary Library in Ottawa."

A few months later, on Earth Day 2019, the pair said "I do" at Victoria’s Christ Church Cathedral.
