Who is Dan Campbell's wife, Holly?

Dan Campbell is married to Holly Campbell. The couple wed in 2005.

According to ClutchPoints, Dan and Holly met at Texas A&M University, but it is unclear when they started dating.

Holly has largely stayed out of the public eye, with much of the personal details of her life remaining private.

However, the proud wife has remained supportive of her husband.

"I've always told him he's magic. He's like the pied piper," she told The Athletic in August 2022.

In an August 2023 interview with WXYZ Channel 7, Dan spoke with Brad Galli about his coaching career and his family, specifically mentioning his wife.

"If there's ever a moment where you go, 'Man, this is feeling pretty good,' does your family keep you in check at home?" Brad asked after acknowledging that Dan doesn't "love the praise" fame can bring.

"Oh, absolutely. Listen, absolutely. Back there between my wife, my daughter, I mean they do. They let me have it," Dan responded with a smile.

"You know, look, my wife has told me before, you know, if I say something that, you know, there's a little bite to it, believe me, I'm getting it twofold back, alright. And, she puts me in my place. Like 'Oh, somebody thinks they're a bada** now?' So, she does, she lets me have it," the football coach continued, in part.

Do Dan and Holly have kids?

Dan and Holly have two kids together, including a daughter named Piper and a son named Cody.

Piper has over 2,000 followers on her Instagram page, @pipercampbell.16, where she has shared photos with her parents.

On July 27, 2021, she posted a picture alongside Holly in Detroit, Michigan.

On December 5, 2021, Piper shared a photo with Dan in honor of his win with the Detroit Lions.

"You have inspired me to be the best I can be. You’ve shown me endless reasons on why I should never give up. Today might be the biggest example yet. Congrats on the win, you deserve it and I love you very much❤️ #bigdubs #onepride," she wrote.

The proud daughter posted more pictures with her dad on January 9, 2023.

"This has been crazy. You have shown everyone what the lions are truly made of. You gave the city something to fight for and that this is not the 'same old lions'. I cannot wait to see what you do in the future, I know it will be big. I’m so proud of you and love you so much🥰🦁," she captioned the images.

While Cody's Instagram account is private, according to his bio, he graduated from Trinity University in 2022.

According to ClutchPoints, he majored in business analytics and technology and minored in sports management.

As the Detroit Free Press reported, in his introductory news conference for the Lions on January 21, 2021, Dan spoke about the support he receives from his wife and children.

"I have to thank a lot of people, OK? First and foremost, my wife, Holly. We’ve been married for over 20 years. She’s been my rock, man," he said.

"She’s moved with me, she tells me exactly how it is — in a good way — well not always in a good way, but my point is, she’s going to let me know exactly what she thinks, and that’s a good thing.

"My kids, my son, Cody, my daughter, Piper — they’ve moved and acclimated and they’ve been my biggest supporters. I have to thank them first," he continued, in part.

When did Dan Campbell join the Detroit Lions?

Dan became the head coach for the Detroit Lions on January 20, 2021, per his Biography on the team's website.

The former athlete previously played for the team from 2006 to 2008, as well as for the New York Giants from 1999 to 2002, the Dallas Cowboys from 2003 to 2005, and the New Orleans Saints in 2009.

Dan also served as the interim head coach for the Miami Dolphins in 2015 and was the team's tight ends coach from 2011 to 2015.

He was also the assistant coach for the Saints from 2016 to 2020.

As Sports Illustrated reported, Dan gave "another emotional speech to his players" following the Lions' first playoff victory in 32 years in a January 14, 2024 game against the Los Angeles Rams at Ford Field in Detroit.

The Lions' X account tweeted a video of the locker room speech.
