Boyega wrote in a tribute post to Twitter: "This just burns. Seems to be a never ending cycle.”
“The murderers need to be charged severely. Even in the face of death this man was given zero empathy."
“I really f***ing hate racists,” he said in another tweet.
However, his tribute post didn't take to the likes of everyone - prompting Boyega to respond to a a Nigerian man who claimed to have broken up with his ex girlfriend because she "hates whites."
Boyega wrote: "I am talking about WHITE on BLACK racism. The kind that has ruined the world not caused a lil break up with your girlfriend."
Replying to another comment that read "racism can come from anyone," Boyega said: "I don't care. That's not what I'm talking about."

He later shared a video to Twitter saying: “I hate racists with a passion.”
“It’s very, very important at this time that we ignore ignorance and we ignore people that come through and try to make these situations what they’re not."
Boyega admitted he wasn't apologizing and continued to explain he's aware of "other forms of racism."
His rant continued: "But a black man was just murdered in cold blood in the streets... again, while saying that he can’t breathe.
“So, I say it again. F*** you racist white people. I said what I said.
"And if you’re a fan of me and you support my work and you’re racist and you’re arguing what I was saying... f*** off, you f***ing d*** heads."

Floyd died on Monday after Officer Derek Chauvin was filmed kneeling on his neck during an arrest in Minneapolis as he shouted "I can't breathe."
The arrest was carried out after Floyd allegedly trying to use forged documents at a local deli.
Footage of the incident, posted to social media, shows Floyd groaning and saying repeatedly "I can't breathe" to the police officer kneeling on his neck.
The officer had his other knee on Floyd's back, near where his hands were handcuffed.
Floyd can also be heard saying "Don't kill me!" before he becomes motionless with his eyes closed.
Four police officers were fired after the video was revealed.
Minneapolis Police Chief Rondo Arredondo made the announcement Tuesday that the cops are now "former employees" after Floyd's Monday evening death.

When asked if he believes that the incident was murder, Frey replied "I do."
"I'm not a prosecutor, but let me be clear, the arresting officer killed someone. As to the precise charge, I'm not going to get into that."
The mayor then went on to say "he'd be alive today if he were white."
Meanwhile, ex-NBA star Stephen Jackson broke down in tears earlier this week while mourning his "twin brother" Floyd on Instagram.
