PIERS Morgan was today hanging by a thread after enjoying a boozy night out with his wife Celia Walden.

The ex Good Morning Britain star struggled to keep his eyes open outside a London cafe as he waited for his breakfast.

Piers, 56, dragged himself out of bed after an evening on the tiles with stunning Celia, 45.

He nipped to his local cafe and grabbed a table but even the beautiful weather failed to lift his spirits.

The star – barely able to lift his own head – managed to order a cappuccino as he flicked through the morning papers.

After a few minutes he checked his phone possibly assessing the damage from the night before.

Not able to face his favourite morning meal of beans on toast Piers later walked away with only a juice.

Last night he was seen getting amorous with Celia as she wore thigh-high boots and a dress.

With Piers' hand placed on his wife's leg, she wrote on Instagram: "NSICs, we used to call them when I was young and single. Not Safe In Cabs. I only went and married one #handsyhubby #haveyousanitised."

Celia's followers bombarded the couple with compliments, with one saying: "Your husband Piers Morgan is a perfect man. I wish more men were like him. Where can I find another Piers Morgan?"

Journalist Celia started going out with former newspaper editor Piers after he interviewed her for a British GQ shoot she was involved in.

Piers said he knew she was "bride material" early on in their relationship when she laughed at him during a speech that went wrong in front of 1,000 people.

But she isn't afraid to tease her other half.
