Mahomes to Kelce is a deadly combination

Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce have been a dynamic duo since Mahomes joined the league in 2017.

Travis Kelce has 507 catches for 6,414 yards and has scored 50 touchdowns in 80 games with Mahomes in his career.

The pair connected on another touchdown Sunday against the Chicago Bears.

Mahomes reveals what Travis told him Friday before game

Patrick Mahomes has revealed that he learned about Taylor Swift attending the Kansas City Chiefs game the Friday before their game with the Chicago Bears.

During a press conference following Sunday’s game, Mahomes told reporters that Travis Kelce told him “at the last minute," about Swift's expected appearance.

“It was like Friday and he was just like, ‘Oh yeah, I think she’s coming to the game," Mahomes told reporters.

Mahomes' son attends first Chiefs game

Mahomes spoke with KCSP (610 AM) Monday about his 10-month-old son Bronze's first Kansas City Chiefs game.

“Yeah, it was the first time he got to be on the field and be out there," Mahomes said.

The superstar QB continued: “And so it was cool to have him there and have my daughter there and see them on the field before the game."

Mahomes wife Brittany is usually seen with his daughter Sterling at most of the Chiefs home games and Patrick is excited for his son to attend more games in the future.

"He’ll have a lot of games there," Mahomes said.

Named Patrick "Bronze" Lavon Mahomes III, he is the first son of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick and his wife Brittany.

Answering questions via her Instagram story, Brittany wrote: "When we got Silver (one of their dogs) we were trying to think of a name that goes with Steel (their other dog).

"We thought of Sterling and I said no, when I have a daughter one day I want that to be her name.

"So then we came up with Silver instead for our pup.

"So now we have Steel, Silver and Sterling [heart emoji]"

Patrick Mahomes' godfather reminisces

Patrick Mahomes was born on September 17, 1995, in Tyler, Texas.

His father is a former Major League Baseball pitcher, Pat Mahomes, and his godfather is a former reliever, LaTroy Hawkins.

“I remember when Patrick’s dad told me his girlfriend was pregnant,” Hawkins told NWI.com. “I remember when he was born.

“I would baby-sit him. He’d come stay at the house, come see me, during the season, so I’ve been pretty much a part of his life since he was a kid.”

What to know about the Kansas City Chiefs head coach

Andy Reid started coaching for the Kansas City Chiefs in 2013.
