A LUCKY thrifter came across a bargain at their local consignment store when they spotted a comfy piece of furniture.
The man, who also works at the store, scooped a Herman Miller chair worth $1,000 for just $15.

He then gifted the high-priced work chair to his sibling.
Reddit user @FrellinHazmot posted about the find on the thread r/ThriftStoreHauls.
"Brother works at a thrift store and he has first eyes on everything," the user posted.
While the user doesn't include the model name, it appears to be a Herman Miller Mirra 2 Office Chair.

The item has attracted rave reviews online.
