A MUM has revealed her “secret formula” for leaving windows and shower glass sparkling. 

The savvy mum, who posts under Mama Mila online, said you only need a few household ingredients to keep glass gleaming “for months”.

The Australian woman posted on TikTok saying you need to mix together one cup of white vinegar, half a cup of dishwashing liquid and one cup of water. 

Then you need to spray it on glass surfaces and spread using a cheap window squeegee.

She wrote alongside the video: “This solution is great at removing soap scum, water marks and residue.

“Our shower screens are new and clean so we're doing it on our windows!”

Then her final trick is to spritz a few drops of water repellent over the glass. 

She added: “Bonus tip - apply a water repellent.

“Glass is cleaned and the water repellent keeps away soap scum, water stains and grime for months.”

After sharing her savvy hack, many people were highly impressed with her homemade cleaner, and hailed it as a “genius” solution to grimy windows.

It’s not the first time Mila has impressed people with a cleaning hack, and previously showed how to leave your microwave looking as good as new in minutes. 

Her advice was to use a cup of water and one teaspoon of washing detergent, and mix them in a jug. 

Next you need to put them inside the microwave and turn on for four minutes.

After this, you can take the jug out of the microwave and wipe inside with a cloth. 

She explained: “No more scrubbing.

“Gently wipe the microwave and watch the grime slide off. The steam environment softens all the stubborn, baked-on food and makes it very easy to clean.”
