SINCE announcing that she was stepping down as a "senior" member of the Royal Family, Meghan Markle has been keeping a low profile in Canada while Prince Harry has been locked in crisis talks in the UK.
Last night, the Duchess of Sussex was pictured for the first time since the shock announcement was made boarding a seaplane to Vancouver where she visited a women's shelter.

But despite the fact that Meghan is stepping back from the Royal Family, the former Suits actress appeared to take style notes from her sister-in-law Kate Middleton as she braved the cold weather.
Trying her best to keep a low profile, the Duchess wore a chic green Barbour jacket for the plane journey - complete with a fur-lined hood.
The timeless jacket is one of Meghan's wardrobe staples and she was pictured wearing it to a yoga class in Toronto in March 2017 - six months before her engagement to Prince Harry was announced.
What's more, the British brand is also a favourite of Kate's and the Duchess has worn several of their designs since becoming a member of the Royal Family.

The mum-of-three owns numerous Barbour jackets - including their iconic waxy button-down styles and quilted cropped designs.
In November 2017, Kate - who was pregnant with Prince Louis at the time - wrapped up warm in her Barbour jacket layered over a black roll-neck jumper.
The Duchess also owns the practical £300 waxed coat in khaki - which she wore while working on her Chelsea Flower Show Garden, during an outdoor session with Brownies last March, and while shearing sheep in the Lake District.
For her visit to the women's shelter in Vancouver, Meghan also opted for her sister-in-law's favourite luxury boot brand Le Chameau.

Serving both a practical and stylish purpose, Meghan's £375 brown quilted leather boots were ideal for wading through snowy Vancouver.
But when she's enjoying a break from royal duties in the UK, Kate prefers the brand's wellington boots for wading through muddy fields when she's walking the family dog Lupo or watching Prince William play polo.
Kate was first spotted in the designer wellies in 2012 and they would have set her back £150.
Opting for a stylish, yet casual ensemble for her visit to the Vancouver-based women's shelter, Meghan wore a £835 white cable-knit jumper by designer fashion brand The Row.

The loose-fitting cashmere jumper is thought to be the same one Meghan wore in an episode of Suits before she married into the Royal Family.
The Duchess completed her look with a £150 black leather tote bag by Cuyana - which she took with her when she cheered on pal Serena Williams at Wimbledon last summer.
Meghan even had the bag personalised with a small gold 'M' on the front.
