KATY Perry donned a tiny minidress and caught donuts from the sky for her latest television segment.
The 39-year-old singer filmed a section for American Idol alongside Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan on Friday.

Katy was pictured from a sunny location.
She wore a bright patterned mini dress that was cut short and showed off her long legs.
The top half of the dress was cut low and exposed her bare chest.
Her long brunette locks were scraped back into an up do.

To finish the look, Katy wore a huge pair of white sunglasses.
Lionel Richie was seen next to her, wearing a patterned top and black leather jacket.
Luke Bryan completed the trio in a Hawaiian shirt and a denim jacket.
They could be seen catching donuts falling from the sky.

The segment seemed to be in collaboration with Disney, as the character Lilo was also pictured.
This latest appearance came just days after Katy announced a career move away from American Idol.

The Dark Horse singer revealed that she landed a role in the beloved children's animated franchise, Peppa Pig.
Katy was filmed as she read her lines in the studio for her character Mrs. Leopard in the Peppa Pig Wedding Special.

"Hi everyone, I'm Mrs. Leopard," Katy said to the camera.
"I can't wait for you to join the celebrations with us!"
The video then switched back to the studio where the songwriter sat.
"Where's the tea? Now what happened to that tea?," she asked.
Out of character, Katy asked someone to hand her a stuffed Peppa Pig toy which she danced around with in front of the camera.
The mother of one made a silly snorting sound.

"Ah ha! Job done," she concluded.
"When my fans AND Daisy tell me to do something, it’s done," she captioned the post and referenced her daughter Daisy, 3, who she shares with Orlando Bloom.
The pair have been dating since 2019.

"Drop an oink oink if you’re DELIGHTED," she concluded.

The new season of American Idol is set to premiere next weekend, with Katy returning alongside the usual judges.
The network announced that singers Tori Kelly, 31, and Jelly Roll, 39, will be appearing on the new season
Last year, Katy faced major backlash over her judging skills in the competition.
She was accused of behaving rudely toward contestant Wé Ani after Wé did not receive feedback from Katy on her performance.
