A WINGSTOP worker claims to have shared the secret formula behind their renowned ranch sauce - and there's a secret ingredient.
The employee, who posts under the username @yareli.romo shared a video on TikTok which showed the mixing process for a batch of ranch dressing.

The video is titled "How to make Wingstop ranch" and garnered over 1.9million views in just ten days.
Viewers were not only shocked to find out that the secret ingredient was mayonnaise, but also how much of it is used.
The TikTok shows a worker heaping mayonnaise from a jar into a large plastic tub until it is almost full.
Next, a carton of cultured whole buttermilk was added before the final step saw packets of ranch seasoning put in.
The brand was hidden from the shot but a comment from an alleged former Wingstop manager claimed it was Hidden Valley Ranch Seasoning.
The comment stated the recipe for a batch of ranch dressing was "three gallons of mayonnaise, six cartons of buttermilk and nine packets of Hidden Valley Ranch Seasoning."
Many TikTokers reacted with shock at the inclusion of mayonnaise.

"RANCH IS MADE OUT OF MAYO?????" asked one comment with over 8,000 likes.
Another said: "Wingstop ranch is officially ruined for me. I suspected it was mayo but refused to accept it."
However, other users were not put off by the inclusion of mayonnaise.
One user declared: "I will drink Wingstop ranch."
"I need this recipe but in a one person household version," said another.
Some viewers were surprised that people weren't aware mayonnaise was included in the ingredients.
"What did people think ranch main ingredients was," said one.
Another TikToker said: "To those who don't know mayo is in ranch. I hope you all know Caesar dressing always contains blended up anchovies as well."
Ranch dressing more often than not contains mayonnaise as a primary ingredient, though it is possible to make the dressing without it.
Often, ranch dressing consists of buttermilk, sour cream, mayonnaise, and various herbs.
Ranch dressing was created by Steve Hanson in the 1950s, who reportedly developed it while working as a contract plumber in Alaska.
When he and his wife opened Hidden Valley Ranch, they began to sell the dressing as a complete product and as a powder to be mixed with buttermilk and mayonnaise.
