He had bought the ticket at a Kwik Stop convenience store in North Platte, Nebraska, last fall, the Lincoln Journal Star reported.

Swarthout only found the ticket when clearing his glove box.

He scratched the numbers and ended up winning a 2023 Ford F-150 XLT truck.

Nebraska Lottery officials confirmed that Swarthout’s prize had not expired either.

Eight trucks were up for grabs in total, with seven claimed so far, per People.

When the eighth truck is won, the player has 180 days to claim their prize, according to lotto bosses.

The prize contained $25,000 that goes toward taxes and licensing.

“That just makes it better, when you find out there’s no financial strings attached,” Swarthout said.
