A MUM-of-five has shared a video saying how people should “normalise” homes that don't look perfect.

She explained: “Can we start normalising normal houses, not aesthetically pleasing houses like not houses that are all white and black and beautiful because there are normal houses out there, there really are.

“They are comfortable and lived in.”

The mum added: “Honestly though. My kids are loved and taken care of and that’s all that matters.”

The clip went viral racking up over 300,000 views, and many people were quick to share their views.

Many people supported her for showing a “relatable” scene, instead of a an unrealistic image for social media.

One said: “Who doesn’t sort and fold laundry on the floor. Family of 6 here too and the laundry is unreal.”

Another said: “thank you for normalizing my house!!”

However, some trolls were quick to criticise her for the mess, with one saying: “There’s messy, but your house was quite extreme.”
