A woman has revealed she's at the end of her tether with her neighbour's seven-year-old son - who repeatedly kicks footballs over her fence.
The anonymous woman, from the UK, vented her frustration in a Reddit forum and explained: "So I’m at my whits end with my neighbours kid - he’s about 7ish and is constantly kicking his ball over the fence or throwing things like toy cars or water pistols."

"I have a 6 month puppy who was happily sunbathing in the garden one day when a ball came over the fence and hit her and now she is scared every time she goes in the garden or hears them."
The annoyed woman went on to say how she explained to the boy's dad that it "isn’t fair" that her dog can no longer relax in her own garden.
"Well nothing has changed and it has been a couple of weeks now," she continued.
"I have just come home to find another 4 footballs in the garden…. I’m not returning them."

The woman went on to ask whether she's in the wrong for refusing to give the balls back, but many agreed they'd do the same.
"You warned them and there’s consequences," wrote one. "Just continue to collect the balls until you have enough to open a sports league or donate them to a charity organisation."

A second commented: "NTA... you could do something drastic like my mum did when I was younger and the neighbours' teenage boy kept kicking the ball over (I think it was like 8 times in the space of an hour)."
"She put a massive knife in the ball, let the air seep out and threw it back over."

Meanwhile, another joked: "My pettiness would go medieval.. put spikes on my fence and every time a ball shows up, put it up on a spike, fully punctured."
Bet they'd stop then."
