AN expert in erotica claims listening to one particular sound from nature has the ability to turbocharge an orgasm.
Gina Gutierrez made the provocative claim at the TED2022 conference last week.

The 1,500 strong in-person crowd was all ears when Gutierrez said sound is elemental to sexual pleasure, adding it's possible to broaden your sexual repertoire by exploring different sonic experiences.
To demonstrate, she began her discussion by playing a five second audio clip of waves crashing against the shore, according to Insider.
She then joked with the crowd saying "were those not the sounds you were imagining I'd play?"
She went on to say "Audio is incredible. It is not a betrayal to use your imagination to bring you more pleasure."
Achieving the perfect orgasm
The entrepreneur and public speaker said while most people may be turned on by the sound of orgasmic moans, heavy breathing, or porn flicks, listening to less conventional erotic tones can help stimulate your imagination and sexual escapades.
For example, she revealed the sound of crashing waves can induce a sense of relaxation, permitting people to get in touch with their sensual side.
The businesswoman has created a tool to help. She's the founder of Dipsea, an audio app where subscribers can listen to sexy scripted stories to experience an orgasm. It costs $13 per month.
Gutierrez says it's the sounds rather than the words that often lead to opening up the floodgates to explore fantasy and sexuality.

The 31-year old says sounds allow you to explore your desires and fantasize in a way that could be different from what you experience in reality. She says it's time to end the myth that the two are interchangeable.
