SEATTLE — History was made in Las Vegas Friday night as the University of Washington Huskies claimed the Pac-12 conference title against the Oregon Ducks.
There’s still a lot of excitement and celebration surrounding the championship, but some UW fans told KOMO News it’s bittersweet that it was the last game in the Pac-12.
Emotions were at an all time high during Friday nights game. UW remains 13-0 for the first time ever.
“Just knowing that we’re that good, like being part of that atmosphere it’s just a great feeling you know," said Vikrim Murali, a UW fan.

During the game, fans showed up to cheer on their team who put on a historic season, but now some are focused on what’s next.
“What’s going to happen next? Who are you going to play? Those are the things I'm interested in now. we’ll see what happened but I'm just excited they won," said UW fan, David Witte.
As fans watched the Huskies take on the Ducks, many said they were proud of what they’ve accomplished.

“I'm so shocked that we’re the underdogs," said Trey Hunt, a UW fan. “It’s been phenomenal. It’s been an absolute roller coaster. I'm happy to be along for the ride.”
Now that the Huskies claimed the last Pac-12 championship, fans are waiting to see how they handle the Big 10.
“The Big 10 is kind of where the big boy football plays, so I think the College Football Playoffs will be a great challenge for what the future will hold," said Riley Foster, a UW fan.
Win or lose, fans said they’re supporting their team no matter what.
“You hate to see that happen, I wish it could have happened a different way but you know what, we'll go to the Big 10 and we’ll prove ourselves there too," said Witte.
The Huskies are now expected to play in the College Football Playoffs later this month.
