He is presently Jerry Seinfeld’s agent. Carl Reiner’s nephew, he is. Shapiro earned his bachelor’s degree from New York University. He subsequently moved to work at the William Morris Agency’s mail department in New York. He rose through the ranks of the organisation and was soon promoted to agent. One of his earliest jobs was to accompany Elvis Presley on The Ed Sullivan Show. He eventually started packaging successful shows including The Steve Allen Show, That Girl with
