A POSSUM has caused chaos at a college football game, invading the field and refusing to leave.
The sporty rodent was seen darting onto the gridiron during Texas Tech's game against TCU on Thursday - leaving fans in awe of its speed and determination.

Fox Sports broadcast captured the wild moment at the start of the second quarter in a tied 7-7 game, showing the furry friend sprinting across the field.
"Rodents of unusual size are showing up in Lubbock," the FS1 commentator said, narrating a clip of the possum.
"That just happened. We had a possum at the 15-yard line.
"He was not happy about being escorted out of the stadium."

The animal was quickly caught and dragged off the field, but it clearly wasn't happy.
With its teeth on show and eyes narrow, the troublesome rodent planted its claws into the ground, forcing workers to drag it through the grass.
College football fans were quick to comment - and many rushed to the animals defense.
One said: "Sign him up for a one day. See what he can do."
