COLLEGE Football is set to have its iconic EA Sports video game return soon, and fans are flooding social media asking for a change to one major detail.
EA Sports' highly-anticipated college football video game is releasing this summer—the company revealed the broadcast commentary team for the game, and fans want Fox Sports star Gus Johnson instead.

College Football 25 will feature all 134 FBS schools, and on Thursday, it was announced who will be in the video game's booth.
ESPN's college football analyst Chris Fowler posted a message on X above a video shared by EA Sports declaring he will be featured in the game as the voice of CFB25.
"I'm in the Game! Today, I can finally make it official.
"I am honored to be one of the voices in #CFB25! Wait until you see this game!" Fowler tweeted.

Fowler will be featured alongside top ESPN star Kirk Herbstreit to fill out the commentary team.
NCAA and football fans swarmed X with reactions to the news, with many calling out for FS1 lead college football analyst instead of Fowler.
"No disrespect to Fowler and Herbstreit, but I need my man Gus Johnson in this game," this fan expressed.
"Gus Johnson needs to be in the game wthhh," another shared.

EA Sports will include up to 85 players per school on rosters, with each of those players getting paid out of the game studio's fund.
Any athlete who opts into the game will receive $600 and a free copy of the game. They will be in the game for the rest of their careers but can opt-out at any time.
