MOTORISTS have access to a secret auto park feature in their Teslas, but it takes navigating some menus to get there.
A Tesla is a very tech-centric vehicle, with a complex user interface and a plethora of settings, so features can easily be forgotten.

Mike Seuss, an automotive YouTuber under the handle @MikeSeuss, has revealed the exact way to find the auto park feature as a subscriber to Tesla's Full Self-Driving (FSD) feature in a recent video.
Full Self-Driving is Tesla's Beta program for fully autonomous driving in certain settings, and it's only available to Tesla owners who opt to pay for the subscription.
Autopilot is free on all new Teslas, though Enhanced Autopilot is a more advanced version with more features, available with a subscription.
"If you've purchased or subscribed to Full Self-Driving, you have a hidden auto park feature that can be accessed as quickly as this," said Suess, tapping quickly three times on a button on top of a steering column lever.

Though, he says to get it to work, it needs to be activated - but it takes some serious know-how to find it in Tesla's interface.
"If you dig through the menus, you won't find it because there is no setting," said Suess.
"But there is a secret way to get to it."
From the home screen, he taps settings, and then selects "Autopilot."

Once selected, he's depicted scrolling to the "Summon" feature, where he then taps "Customize Summon."
"Now where it says 'require continuous press,' make sure 'no' is selected."
He then exits out from the menu and shows himself quickly tapping the park button three times.
"And there you have it," he said.
"A hidden auto park."
One person in the comments section seemed frustrated that the auto park feature is hidden, considering the cost of the Full Self-Driving subscription.
"Wait, you paid $15,000 and the auto park is hidden?"
To which Mike replied simply: "Yeah."
Another person made sure to note that this trick works on older models that use sonic sensors.

"I believe this only works on previous models with sonic sensors," they wrote.
"Does not work on 2023 models who rely solely on cameras to drive."
