Taking to the Facebook group Extreme Couponing & Bargains UK, run by money saving mum Holly Smith, one woman unveiled her impressive Darth Vader Christmas tree.
Working with a black faux fir as her base, the anonymous woman used the famous black mask worn by the character as a tree topper, and hung a cape down the back of the tree to create the silhouette.
She finished the tree with a selection of silver baubles and red fairy lights before adding a red light saber to the centre.
Captioning her post she wrote: Darth Vader Christmas tree that I made for my Star Wars OBSESSED husband. Mask and cloak from eBay.

“Star Wars baubles from market place but you can buy from eBay or Amazon, lights from Aldi. Light saber from local toy store.
“He is absolutely thrilled with it. Cost me about £30.”
Her post received 1,000 likes and hundreds of comments with many fellow Star Wars fans showcasing their own intergalactic designs including several more Vaders.
One had created a tree dedicated to the droid R2 D2 using white baubles and blue lights to decorate.

Another had used a white Christmas tree to fashion themselves an impressive Storm Trooper, who can be seen holding a blaster.
However, not everyone was impressed.
Commenting on the post one wrote: " This can NOT happen in our house."
"Don't be getting any ideas!" said another tagging her husband, with a third adding "Never happening no matter what."
Episode 9 The Rise of Skywalker will hit UK cinemas on December 19, 2019.
It follow on from Stars Wars: The Force Awakens (2015) and Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017).
