A BRITISH mum has been stabbed to death at her home in the city of Chieti in Italy.
Cops have launched a manhunt for Michele Faiers' husband who reportedly fled in the family car.

Police rushed to the scene in the Verratti district where they found the 66-year-old's body in a pool of blood, La Repubblica reported.
The chief prosecutor of Lanciano, Mirvana Di Serio, and the forensic police also arrived at the site.
Faiers' body was discovered by her friend after she began to worry about her lack of communication.
The woman had not been answering her phone so the friend went to her house, about six miles from the town centre.
The neighbours alerted the authorities after hearing the woman's screams, the outlet reports.
Officers discovered Faiers lying on the floor of her bedroom in a pool of blood with several stab wounds to her back.
The Carabinieri are currently looking for the woman's husband, Michael Whitbread, 74, who remains on the run after reportedly fleeing in the family car, a white Jeep Compass.
Colonel Alceo Greco, of Italy’s Carabinieri police force, said Faiers’s husband was the prime suspect.

Faiers had been living with her husband in the countryside in Casoli, Chieti for the past three years.
The pair were described as private by locals who said they would often see them taking walks with their three dogs.
A murder investigation has been launched.
A Foreign Office spokesperson said it has not been approached for consular assistance, but staff stand ready to support Brit nationals abroad.
The woman had made her last post on her Instagram page on October 25, where she had uploaded three images of sunsets taken from the terrace of her house.
She captioned it "another beautiful sunset" and among the people who liked it was her partner.
Other pictures show the couple enjoying a winter break, skiing in nearby mountains, and in one snap she is seen with her daughter Harriet.
Back in September, another British woman was stabbed to death as a pensioner was arrested for her murder.
The victim, 76, was found dead in the village of Orihuela Costa in Costa Blanca Spain.
