A POPULAR soul food chain has announced that it will offer a new fast food treat and fans have gone wild.
Bosses at Bobwhite Counter announced that the chicken restaurant will be selling tender dogs.

The introduction of the snack – a take on the popular hot dog – has been branded a “big deal” by fast food fanatics.
Diners can pick up a tender dog that has been topped with mayonnaise and pickles, or spicy chipotle sauce and slaw.
Bobwhite Counter is also selling a plain tender dog.
The restaurant chain revealed on Instagram last week that it was giving away a free tender dog at its Avenue C location in Alphabet City, New York with every purchase.

Fans have been warned that the offer is limited, but diners are excited.
One Instagram user said: “Feels like a big deal,” while others hailed the special promotion.
It’s not yet known when the tender dogs will be added to the menu.

Bobwhite Counter, which was founded more than 10 years ago, has locations in Long Island City, Jersey City, and New York’s Union Square.
The restaurant also sells biscuits, wraps, and chicken buckets.
Popular New York chicken restaurant Blue Ribbon Fried Chicken also sells tender dogs.
Bobwhite Counter is not the only restaurant chain that has added items to its menus.
The U.S. Sun reported how KFC added chicken nuggets to its menus at restaurants across the US starting March 27.
Prices start at $3.49 for five nuggets, and customers will also be able to choose boxes of eight, 12, and even 36 pieces.
The nuggets are made with 100 percent white meat and feature a hand-breaded coating.
Jack in the Box has added popcorn chicken to its menu, sending fans wild.

Fast food fans can already find a range of popcorn chicken choices on the menu of its 2,200 locations.
The options include Classic Popcorn Chicken, Spicy Popcorn Chicken, and a variety of combos including a 50/50 share of the two.
