The new Cottonwood Park playground was created for children of all ages and abilities, with the goal of providing ultisensor experiences for park users and to encourage all children to play; no matter their age, ability or stage development.

The park features new bonded rubber fall material under the playground and a 100-foot long zip line.

Visitors will have a chance to try out the new accessible and inclusive features at the park dedication and, following a ribbon-cutting ceremony, Boise Parks and Recreation will host a neighborhood celebration with treats.

Mayor Dave Bieter, Boise City Council, Boise Parks and Recreation, and the Centennial Neighborhood Association dedicated the park at 4 p.m.
