HUBBA Bubba has introduced a new gum featuring the flavor of Skittles.

A new flavor of Hubba Bubba hit the shelves this week for the first time since 1988.

The Mars-owned band has teamed up with Skittles to bring the flavors of the beloved candy to a new gum.

Each 40-piece tub features a mix of fan-favorite Skittles flavors, including lemon, strawberry, grape, orange, and lime.

The gum is available at select retailers and is rolling out nationally throughout the year

Some fans say it reminds them of Skittles Bubble Gum, which was introduced in 2004 and discontinued in 2010.

The gum struggled to stay popular as consumers became more aware of the negative health affects of sugary chewing gum.

"This is probably the closest thing we're ever gonna get," said one on TikTok.

However, this customer claimed it "has more of a Hubba Bubba taste than a Skittles taste" and rated it a 6/10.

MORE FOOD CHANGES

Hubba Bubba is not the only household name brand that recently put a new spin on a beloved product.

Cheerios recently made two changes to its famous breakfast cereal to celebrate Valentine's Day.

They taste so good,' shoppers rave over Aldi's Valentine's Day food with rose shaped ice cream cones & $2 heart puffs

First, it changed the shape of each cereal piece from the recognizable O to a love heart.

Second, the brand also changed the flavor, putting a chocolate twist on the wholegrain classic.

Customers are love-struck by the new product.

"Cutest packaging and simple," wrote one in an online review at Target.

Meanwhile, Tropicana temporarily changed the name of its orange juice to "Tropcn" on select bottles last month.

The brand removed the letters "AI" from the name to prove there is "absolutely nothing artificial" in its juice.

100 of these novelty bottles were hidden at grocery stores including Kroger, Fry's, and Fred Meyer.
