A KROGER customer ran into multiple issues while shopping at his local store and left flustered.
He wrote out his list of issues in a series of posts to X, formerly known as Twitter, and even got a response from the grocer.

Kroger customer Chris Wetterich (@ChrisCinciBiz) called the experience he had at his store, “hilariously awful.”
“Ah, another hilariously awful experience at the Corryville @kroger,” Wetterich’s post said.
Wetterich then went into the detailed events.
“The scene: Friday night before it snows,” he said.

He complained about the number of clerks working, claimed self-checkout lanes were closed, that there were no carts, and trash.
“One checkout lane with a clerk open, two rows of self-checkout lanes, with a few of those machines closed, of course.
“No carts in the store.
“Trash all over the parking lot."

In another post, Witterich added that he had issues while using the self-checkout machine which included the amount of room it offered.
“I choose self-checkout. There's a tiny platform that doesn't really fit my grocery bag,” he said.
Witterich explained he then had issues when checking out and is not sure if the machine took his payment.
“I scan everything, manage to get it into the bag without it falling over, reach for my card and the machine suddenly times out before I get the card in the reader,” he said.
“Did I pay or not? Did it charge the credit card associated with my Plus Card/Boost membership?
“'Tis a mystery.
“The employees *think* the answer is no and tell me to rescan everything.
“Uh, nope. I guess I won't be sparing some poor Instacart person a snowy run tomorrow.”
Kroger replied to the post saying the company reached out to his store to help fix the issues.
The grocer also made a case for Wettercih’s situation.
“We appreciate you sharing your feedback with us,” Kroger said.
“On your behalf, we will forward your comments to the appropriate department to make them aware of your concerns.
